I’ve had a career in communications that spans two decades (writing that makes me older than I feel!). After a short stint at the BBC, I worked in PR for comedians before switching to the charity sector. That job involved interviewing cancer patients and telling their stories, which prompted a move into journalism. In 2015, I undertook an award-winning course in advanced strategic social media management.
