Ready for a spooktacular October? There are plenty of non-spooky awareness days for coaches and counsellors to tap into in October. The big one is World Mental Health Day on 10 October. There’s always a lot of activity around that awareness day so definitely worth making the most of it. But that’s the not the only October awareness days for coaches to flag up.
Business and executive coaches could tap into emotional intelligence awareness month, and bullying awareness month and day. There’s also worklife week, mentoring day and information overload day. And there’s online networking day.
There are plenty for life coaches too. Baby loss and menopause feature in October and there is a focus on breast cancer. Having an illness like cancer has a huge impact on mental health, so using the hashtag to flag services and support you offer is worth doing. As you’ll know, using the hashtag for awareness days is an effective way to get in front of new audiences. That’s a great way to boost your business.
Do you have any created content that could be re-shared with the hashtag? Make the most of it by posting it again with the relevant hashtag. The same goes for curated content – add the hashtag for the day and post it again. If you’re looking for other quick wins on social media, this shares a few more.
The first step, though, is working out which days fit your business best. I’ve gone through all the awareness days for October and picked out those that best suit coaches, counsellors and psychotherapists. Check them out below.
